I mailed her the phone without realizing it's locked to T-Mobile's network. Device Unlock is an Android app that allows you to request and apply a T-Mobile Device Unlock directly from the device. I paid for it outright and used it until I upgraded to my Oneplus7 Pro in 2020. I bought a T-Mobile branded Samsung Galaxy Note8 from the Samsung website when the phone was first released in September of 2017. Had to contact T-Mobile via Twitter and request that the IMEI# be added to the whitelist. In order to be eligible, the IMEI must have usage by the mobile number requesting the unlock code and the account must have a minimum of two monthly service payments since first use of requested device. This sub is not moderated by T-Mobile, but many employees post here regularly. Unfortunately, this subscriber is not eligible to receive the unlock code at this time.
